A Level 3 Building Survey is the most comprehensive type of property survey, designed to provide a thorough understanding of a property before you make a purchase. This survey is particularly suited for older, larger, altered, extended, or more complex homes, as well as properties in poor condition. It offers an in-depth assessment of the building’s construction, condition, and any defects that may require attention, together with their likely causes and practical implications.

​Carried out in accordance with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Home Survey Standard, a Level 3 Survey provides a detailed inspection of the property both inside and outside, where reasonably accessible. The surveyor will identify visible defects, highlight areas of concern, comment on the condition of major elements and services, and advise on necessary repairs, ongoing maintenance, and, where appropriate, potential further investigations.
