Historically located in Torbay, the practice is active throughout the South West of England. The Company has strength in depth with a wide base of knowledge and experience from 5 Chartered Surveyors together with a dedicated team. Bettesworths offer a personal service and believe that the best advice is provided by professionals who have no commitments to anyone other than their clients. The firm is totally independent and is run by 3rd generation family.
It was 70 years ago in 1943, when Maureen and Bernard Bettesworth established the firm of Bettesworths in Torquay. They had happy memories of their honeymoon in the seaside town in 1939. Maureen Bettesworth soon established herself as a leading light in the male dominated world of commercial property by becoming the first lady auctioneer and hotel agent in the UK.
